Our Approach
World Health Organisation data show that suicide is a leading cause of death world-wide. There is no age limit or boundary for suicide and has even been noted to occur as young as 9. They report that death from suicide accounts for more fatalities than either from armed conflicts globally or the number of people dying from traffic accidents.
Our team have over 30 years’ experience internationally and throughout Australia in the funeral, counselling and pastoral care industries. Management hold the prestigious and rare Masters Degree in Suicidology which is accepted all across the world, which is why Suicidology Australia is able to care for people who are affected by suicide, in an appropriate and gentle manner.
The latest technology and resources are used in conducting both the workshops and counselling. Suicidology Australia is based on continual learning and remains up to date on the latest research and statistics available across the world.
